7th Annual GrapeDay 5k | Bergelectric Charitable Foundation

Thank you to all those that participated in the 7th Annual GrapdeDay 5k event this past Saturday, October 7 in Escondido.  It was absolutely amazing to see such a great turn out and so many locals in the community participating in the event.

The GrapeDay 5k event put on by the Escondido Sunrise Rotary & Palomar Health Foundation was presented by Bergelectric Charitable Foundation.  The event had over 800+ registered participants, with 200+ of those registered being Bergelectric employees and family members.

San Diego Bergelectric employees and their families proudly wore their Berg Charitable Foundation shirts, which could be seen all around the race that day.

A special thank you to Alyshia Rider, Tomasa Collazo, Wanda Kehler, Tami Lawson, and Jeremy Crotinger who are part of the San Diego Bergelectric Charitable Foundation Event Committee for putting in the extra efforts needed to make sure that everyone was pumped up about this event.  The committee also helped spread the word about the race, assist employees with registering,  assemble Berg swag bags,  distributed all race day swag and bibs,  plus they ran in the race themselves!

While not everyone can take home a prize, we do want to give a big thank you to those that gathered their family and friends to participate in the Team Challenge.  The winners of this challenge took it to new levels! To win, they needed to have the largest registered team members.

Congratulations to our 1st Place team, “Berg HR/Rish #1 … WOHAA!!”, who managed to get 29 registered participants! In 2nd Place we have “Bergelectric – Preconstruction” with 13 registered participants, and in 3rd Place we have the “Berg’s Ladies of the Ledgers”.
