As we do each month, the San Diego Bergelectric Charitable Foundation Committee selects a local non-profit organization to sponsor.  Between the Berg Charitable Foundation and the amazing staff in the San Diego office, we have been able to raise monetary donations and collect in-kind donations for several local non-profit charities.

This month was no exception, the San Diego IT & BOS Division has selected, Here With HOPE as the San Diego Bergelectric Charitable Foundation Committees – June charity.

Many employees participated in gathering coloring book, crayons, markers, puzzles, and other small activities for the children that are fighting cancer. We were very excited to present two large barrels filled to the rim with all the in-kind donations plus a monetary donation of $2,000 from the Bergelectric Charitable Foundation.

Here with HOPE offers guidance and support to families of children fighting cancer. They strive to create a community of assistance, lending support through financial, community, and emotional help. Each family will receive personalized attention and a “helping hand” to guide them with the many challenges they face outside the hospital with a team of people championing for their daily needs creating fundraising & housing opportunities for them and allowing them to focus on what is most important to them-the health of their child.

With that said, 100% of the assistance that Here With HOPE provides comes from fundraising efforts throughout the year with the major support coming from their annual Putting for Peyton Golf Tournament and our Hope Homes Team.  To see a list of upcoming events, check out the Here With Hope Events Page!
