Bergelectric’s Austin region recently held their 1st Annual Bergelectric Charitable Foundation Cornhole Classic benefitting the Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund managed by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
The Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund was created to support survivors, their families, and others affected by the tragedy at Robb Elementary School that took place on May 24th, 2022. Through the donations of several Texas businesses that Bergelectric works with, the Austin Region raised $17,400! This money will go directly to aid the families affected by the tragedy that has forever changed the town of Uvalde, TX. We would like to thank all the businesses who donated and participated in our event. We had a ton of fun at this year’s competition and can’t wait to get together for another tournament next year! This year’s winner was Team Beckwith Electronic Systems consisting of Jeff Hoffman and Bergelectric Austin’s Superintendent, Jonathan Sharp.
