The Bergelectric Charitable Foundation were so excited to donate $50,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this year. The impact and hope that St. Jude has brought to families since its inception in 1962 is beyond incredible!
When founder Danny Thomas opened the doors to St Jude in 1962, he had a dream that “no child should die in the dawn of life”. St. Jude has continued to see this dream through. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital tirelessly works to advance cures and means of prevention for catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Unlike other hospitals, most funding comes from individual contributions, and because of these generous donations, families never receive a bill from St Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.
