Bergelectric San Diego recently organized a fundraising effort to gather school supplies for the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s Discovery School Camps. We had the pleasure of hand-delivering the supplies to the Lagoon on Friday, May 23rd.
The Discovery Summer Camp runs for eight weeks, welcoming 60 students each week. To foster collaboration and learning, these students are divided into five groups of 12, which requires ample supplies for each group. Each week is centered around a unique STEM theme, allowing campers to dive into hands-on experiments, demonstrations, games, and engaging activities related to that theme.
