Bergelectric Charitable Foundation donated to the Family Support Center of South Sound in Washington. The organization was surprised at the delivery volume and grateful for the donations. The donations were collected through a combination of an Amazon Wishlist and Bergelectric employees purchasing from a list provided by the charity group.
Family Support Center of South Sound, founded in 1992, provides families with children and survivors of domestic violence/sexual assault with coordinated supportive services to accomplish the mission, “Working Together to Strengthen ALL Families and Survivors.” FSC builds strong, healthy, hopeful households through collaborative programs to reduce the negative impacts of poverty, homelessness, and family violence. The agency operates as a ‘one-stop shop’, co-locating with government and nonprofit organizations in a single location to reduce the number of places a family or survivor in crisis must go to for services, resources, and support. The agency serves over 4,000 people annually through five dynamic and robust programs – Homeless Family Services, Family Shelter Program, Family Resource Services, Parent and Child Education, and Family Justice Center. Your donations will be directly distributed to families and survivors through the onsite Resource Station and at our family shelter locations.
