Bags, Brews & Giving Back: Building Community at the 2026 Las Vegas Cornhole Classic
On October 16, Bergelectric Las Vegas welcomed 150 industry partners, sponsors, and friends to Beer Zombies Brewing Co. for the 2026 Bergelectric Charitable Foundation Cornhole Classic. Bringing together members of the construction industry, the event combined friendly competition, laughter, and camaraderie with a shared commitment to giving back. Participants traded their everyday professional competitiveness for a little friendly rivalry on the cornhole boards while enjoying great food, strengthening industry relationships, and building new connections in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
While participants came together for an afternoon of fun, the event’s greatest impact extended far beyond the cornhole boards. Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, supporters, and participants, this year’s tournament raised more than $70,000, with $35,000 presented to two deserving Southern Nevada nonprofit organizations, The Just One Project and The WAY Foundation. Each organization received $17,500 to support its ongoing efforts to address food insecurity, assist vulnerable individuals and families, provide critical community resources, and create opportunities for those in need.
The funds raised through the tournament will help both organizations continue delivering essential services and programs that strengthen the community and provide hope to those facing difficult circumstances. By supporting these local nonprofits, participants and sponsors helped ensure that the impact of the event will be felt long after the final matches were played.

More than just a tournament, the Cornhole Classic was a celebration of the relationships that strengthen our industry and the collective impact we can make beyond the jobsite.
