Mama's Kitchen - October's Charity of the Month

This month our Commercial Projects Division selected Mama’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization that supports and feeds those suffering from Cancer and AIDS as our Charity of the Month.
Bergelectric Charitable Foundation gave a monetary donation to Mama’s Kitchen which helped sponsort he Mama’s Pie in the Sky Fundraiser plus Bergelectric San Diego invited employees and their families to participate in our “Mama’s Pantry Food Drive” by donating canned goods that earned them a FREE pie.

What They Do
With the tremendous support from the caring community, Mama’s Kitchen prepares and delivers nutritious meals for San Diego residents struggling with AIDS or cancer who are too sick to shop and cook for themselves. Together with hundreds of volunteers, businesses, and community supporters, Mama’s Kitchen strives to help their clients stay healthy, preserve their dignity, and keep their families together by providing free, culturally appropriate home-delivered meals, along with pantry services and nutrition education.
The Vision For The FutureAt Mama’s Kitchen, they envision a community where all individuals with critical illnesses are no longer vulnerable to hunger.
