Cornhole for a Cause: Supporting Families, Inspiring Hope
NorCal’s Annual Cornhole Fundraiser brought together employees, clients, sponsors, and industry partners on September 18, 2026, for a memorable day focused on connection, generosity, and community impact.
Benefiting UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center Pediatric Cancer programs, which provide critical support and financial assistance to pediatric oncology patients and their families, this year’s event highlighted the incredible power of people coming together for a meaningful cause. The fundraiser also featured our most successful raffle to date, made possible through the outstanding generosity of attendees, donors, and sponsors.
A particularly moving moment came from guest speaker Garrett Duncan, father of Tyson Duncan and advocate for the Tyson H. Duncan Unbreakable Endowment. Garrett shared Tyson’s courageous journey and the inspiration behind the endowment, reminding everyone of the resilience, strength, and hope demonstrated by children and families facing cancer. His story offered a heartfelt perspective on the extraordinary care and compassion provided by the physicians, nurses, and staff at UC Davis, whose support extends far beyond treatment to uplift families through life’s most challenging moments.
