On a sunny Saturday in July, the Berg team from the NorCal region participated in a heartwarming event in Elk Grove, CA. Collaborating with the Roc Solid Foundation, we came together to support Thomas, an incredibly brave and radiant 3-year-old who is courageously fighting leukemia. With the dedication of our Berg team and their families, we constructed a delightful playset that Thomas can cherish right in his own backyard.
To make this gift even more special, we incorporated his favorite superhero, Spider-Man, into the design, adding a personal touch that truly captured his imagination. The joy and surprise on Thomas’s face, as well as that of his family and neighbors, were priceless! This initiative not only provided Thomas with a safe and joyful space to explore and dream big but also turned his backyard into a haven of happiness. Ultimately, this build has created beautiful memories for Thomas and his family, offering them a bright spot during a challenging chapter of their lives.
