Cornhole Classic Raises $80,000 for a Great Cause!
With generous support from our five Platinum Sponsors – CED, Main Electric, OCS Lighting and Control, Rexel, and SDLA – the San Diego Region exceeded last year’s fundraising total. Their contributions, together with those of our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sponsors, including Ramtek and Linx Lighting + Controls, and 31 additional player sponsors across San Diego and Riverside Counties, helped us raise $80,000 for Bergelectric Charitable Foundation! These funds enabled us to donate $20,000 each to Michelle’s Place and 1904 Cadets. A heartfelt thank-you to both nonprofits for all they do – bringing compassion and valuable resources to our communities! You’re amazing!
50 two-player teams from subcontractors and vendors across San Diego and Riverside Counties gathered for the 2026 Cornhole Classic – a day of friendly competition and great food! Big thanks to Regional Vice Presidents Jonn McKittrick and Aaron Russler as well as Marion B. and Paul D. for organizing the event. A shout out to Andrew R. of the Southern California Cornhole Association for expertly coordinating gameplay. And the Berg Barbeque Team, led by Mike S., did it again! They got an early start preparing the most phenomenal tri-tip, homemade coleslaw, beans, and mac and cheese. Cold drinks from TapTruck SD rounded out a memorable day!
