Together We Rise - December's Charity of the Month

Our Finance Department has selected “Together We Rise” for the December Bergelectric Charity of the Month. The Bergelectric Charitable Foundation has donated funds that secured 60 suitcases, which will be provided to local children residing at Becky’s House so that they do not have to travel from home to home with their belongings in a trash bag.
TWR is an organization comprised of motivated young adults and former foster youth. Their vision is to improve the lives of foster children in America, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. They collaborate with community partners, such as Bergelectric Charitable Foundation to bring resources to foster youth and use service-learning activities to educate volunteers on issues surrounding the foster care system.
TWR works with hundreds of foster agencies, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to bring their programs to foster youth across the nation.
