Veterans Village of San Diego

On Friday, December 12, 2025, Bergelectric’s San Diego, National, NTS, and Underground Regions came together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of local veterans by donating $4,000 to Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD). This significant contribution provides vital discretionary funds to assist the nonprofit’s efforts during the holiday season and beyond.

VVSD, a respected 501©(3) organization, has been a cornerstone of support for San Diego’s military veterans and their families for decades. The organization is dedicated to helping veterans overcome some of life’s most challenging obstacles, including homelessness, addiction, PTSD, unemployment, and barriers to essential health care. Through a network of campuses across San Diego County, VVSD offers comprehensive services such as housing, rehabilitation, counseling, job training, case management, and long-term stability resources. Each year, thousands of veterans benefit from these life-changing programs as they work toward rebuilding their lives.

The $4,000 donation from Bergelectric’s regional teams will help strengthen VVSD’s ability to deliver high-impact services and expand their outreach to more veterans in need. VVSD representatives expressed deep appreciation for the support, noting that contributions like these are critical for sustaining essential programs and meeting the rising needs of the veteran community—especially for those experiencing homelessness or facing behavioral health challenges.
